IG offers a structured Refer a Friend programme where you earn cash rewards once your friend opens a live account and places qualifying trades. The more they trade, the higher your reward tier. Instead of keeping a good platform to yourself, you can refer friends and get paid when they start trading. Maximum of five referred friends per client. The maximum reward per referral is capped at $2,000.

How It Works
- Log in to your My IG account.
- Go to Settings → Refer a Friend.
- Share your unique referral link or code.
- Earn rewards once your friend completes five qualifying trades.

Refer a Friend Rewards
You earn rewards based on your friend’s trading costs within their first three months:
- Tier 1 – 5 qualifying trades → You earn $100, friend gets 10% rebate
- Tier 2 – $250+ in trading costs → You earn $250, friend gets 10% rebate
- Tier 3 – $1,000+ in trading costs → You earn $500, friend gets 20% rebate
- Tier 4 – $4,000+ in trading costs → You earn $2,000, friend gets up to 30% rebate
